Foundations
One of the major principles behind our programming is:
Mechanics before Consistency before Intensity
Simply, this means that before you dive into our workouts with 100% intensity, you MUST be able to perform all of the movements in a consistently safe and efficient manner. This will help to maximize your experience within our program as well as ensure long-term results.
Our Foundations Program consists of 9 small-group training sessions, meeting 3 days a week for 3 weeks. It is designed for the generally active, injury free individual who wants to train in one of our ongoing group CrossFit classes.
In this program, we will expose beginners to our movement curriculum in a group format. Movement techniques will be drilled as well as a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes.
Next Foundations Program:
February 27th through March 16th
10:00am class: Mon, Wed, Fri
8:00pm class: SOLD OUT!
Space is limited. Contact us to sign up!
More experienced trainees may test out of Foundations. In order to be granted this option, trainees must have CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting experience and demonstrate competency in our entire curriculum of movements. Eligibilty will be granted by one of our coaches and will consist of a 30 minute skill test.
Individuals that have orthopedic issues, have little to no experience with exercise or would simply like more individual attention in a one-on-one setting may choose to begin with personal training. Click here to find out more about our personal training program options.
If you are unsure as to whether you are a good candidate for beginning in a class setting or to sign up for the next available session, please contact us.
